If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Leicestershire County Council - Assessment Team
This is a full-time role offering up to £38 per hour.
Here's the Role:
- Undertaking comprehensive and timely Child and Family Assessments (Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries) to identify risks, strengths, and support needs for children and their families.
- Managing a varied caseload, ensuring effective and timely interventions in line with statutory guidelines and departmental policies.
- Making informed decisions regarding safeguarding, child protection, and the need for further support or intervention, applying robust thresholds consistently.
- Developing and implementing clear, child-centred care plans that address identified needs and risks, focusing on achieving positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with children, young people, their families, carers, and a wide range of multi-agency professionals to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Preparing detailed, analytical, and timely reports for meetings, including Child Protection conferences and potentially court hearings.
- Maintaining accurate, detailed, and up-to-date case records in compliance with departmental policies and statutory requirements.

Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
