Middlesbrough Permanent Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Cared for Children Team in Middlesbrough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Position: Social Worker
Shift: Full-Time
Salary: £40,476 - £42,708 (Higher salary based on experience: £46,547 - £49,114)
Location: Middlesbrough

Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families.
- Develop and implement care plans.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals.
- Advocate for the needs of children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess a relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree) and be registered with the HCPC.
- Experience in safeguarding is essential, and experience working with specific vulnerable groups would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills are required.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
