Are you an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a strong background in Child Protection and Court Work? Herefordshire Council are looking for passionate and dedicated locum social workers to join their Children's Safeguarding and Support Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex caseload of children subject to child protection plans and care proceedings.
- Undertake assessments, court reports and statements, and provide oral evidence when required.
- Work closely with the Council's Legal Team and Court Progression Officers to ensure all proceedings are completed within timescales.
Use a restorative and strengths-based approach, promoting partnership working with families. - Engage in multi-agency collaboration to safeguard children and achieve positive, lasting outcomes.
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent) with Social Work England registration.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in statutory children's social care.
- Confident managing child protection and court work, including report writing and giving evidence.
- Strong communication and assessment skills, with a child-centred approach.
- A team player who values reflection, learning, and collaboration.
