If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Leicestershire County Council - Children in Need Team
This is a full-time role offering up to £38 per hour.
Here's the Role:
- Managing a caseload of children and families subject to Child in Need (CIN) plans, and potentially those on Child Protection (CP) plans or involved in court proceedings.
- Conducting comprehensive child and family assessments (Single Assessments/SAFs) to identify needs, strengths, and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing effective, child-centred care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
- Providing direct work and interventions to children and families to promote positive change, build resilience, and improve outcomes.
- Working in partnership with parents, carers, and a wide range of professionals (including health, education, and voluntary agencies) to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Preparing high-quality reports for CIN reviews, Child Protection conferences, and court hearings as required.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and timely case records in line with statutory requirements and council policies.
- Applying Leicester City Council's practice framework, which may include models like Signs of Safety and principles of trauma-informed practice.

Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
