If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Leicestershire County Council - Children with Disabilities Team

This is a full-time role offering up to £38 per hour.

Here's the Role:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience as a qualified social worker, specifically working with children with disabilities and complex health needs within a statutory setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Children Act 1989 & 2004, Care Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice), child protection procedures, and best practice frameworks for children with disabilities.
• Excellent assessment, analytical, and care planning skills, with an ability to work in a person-centred and strengths-based way.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
• The ability to manage your caseload effectively, prioritise tasks, and work autonomously while being a supportive team player.
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is usually required.
