As a frontline Social Worker, you will carry out high-quality assessments and interventions that ensure the safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes for children. This is a critical role at the point of referral, where your professional judgment and decision-making will shape the future for those in need. You will work as part of a collaborative and well-resourced team with strong multi-agency links. You can expect a fantastic salary of:
£37,366 to £45,511 per annum DOE.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans for children and young people who are looked after (LAC) to ensure their safety, stability, and long-term outcomes.
- Maintain regular statutory visits and monitor the child's welfare in line with legal requirements.
- Work closely with foster carers, residential staff, and connected carers to support placement stability and meet the child's needs.
- Coordinate and chair Looked After Child reviews in partnership with Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs).
- Support children through transitions such as school changes, placement moves, or reunification with family.
- Promote the child's education, health, and emotional wellbeing by liaising with relevant professionals.
- Prepare high-quality court reports, placement reports, and permanency planning documentation.
- Advocate for the child's voice and wishes in all decision-making processes.
- Work collaboratively with legal teams for care proceedings, placement orders, or adoption planning.
- Assist young people in preparing for independence, including pathway planning and support into adulthood.
Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
