We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity within the Court & Locality Service - South Locality Team based in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester.
The Court & Locality Service supports children and families aged 0-18 years who are subject to Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings including Cared for Children processes.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop child-centred intervention plans
- Work within a multi-agency framework to support children and families
- Manage cases across CIN, CP, and court proceedings
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to inform planning and decision making
- Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings and statutory meetings
To be considered for the role:
- Minimum 2-3 years' frontline experience in Children's Services
- Experience in child protection and care proceedings is essential
- Social Work England registration
- Confident in multi-agency working and formulating effective support plans
- Strong report writing and assessment skills
