An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and motivated Locum Social Worker to join a dedicated service based in Burnley, Lancashire.
We are seeking a flexible and reliable practitioner who can contribute effectively within a busy and responsive working environment. This role requires regular office presence and the ability to adapt to changing service demands.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and prepare high-quality reports
- Complete out-of-court reports and pre-sentence reports
- Contribute effectively to court processes and proceedings
- Deliver clear, analytical, and evidence-based assessments
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely case records
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Recognised Diploma / Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Criminal Justice experience
- Ability to work flexibly and manage competing demands
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
