As a frontline Social Worker, you will carry out high-quality assessments and interventions that ensure the safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes for children. This is a critical role at the point of referral, where your professional judgment and decision-making will shape the future for those in need. You will work as part of a collaborative and well-resourced team with strong multi-agency links. You can expect a fantastic salary of:
£37,366 to £45,511 per annum DOE.

Responsibilities:
Complete holistic assessments of need under the Children Act 1989 for children with disabilities and their families.
Develop and implement Child in Need, Child Protection, or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in collaboration with families and professionals.
Coordinate multi-agency support to ensure children with disabilities have access to appropriate health, education, and social care services.
Support families through transitions, including early years, primary to secondary education, and into adult services.
Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding investigations where children with disabilities are at risk of harm.
Provide direct support and interventions to promote inclusion, independence, and the child's well-being.
Advise and assist with access to short breaks, respite care, specialist equipment, and personal budgets.
Prepare reports and attend child-focused meetings, such as reviews, planning meetings, and tribunals.
Work closely with Special Educational Needs (SEN) teams, health professionals, and community providers.
Advocate for the rights and wishes of the child, ensuring their voice is central to planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
