Responsibilities:
- Responding to new referrals from the public and professionals
- Carrying out assessments to identify support needs or safeguarding concerns
Signposting families to the right services or progressing cases as appropriate - Managing a diverse and sometimes complex caseload
- Preparing high-quality reports and court statements
- Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes
To be considered for the role:
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE)
- A recognised qualification in Social Work (e.g., BA, BSc, or equivalent)
- Ideally, prior experience in a Children's Duty and Assessment Team
- Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
