Role:
- Support families at an early stage to prevent escalation to statutory social work services
- Work closely with children and families to identify risks, build resilience, and improve outcomes
- Use a range of evidence-based tools and interventions to ensure effective support
- Maintain a clear focus on the safety and wellbeing of children
- Ensure the voice of the child is central to all planning and decision-making
- Demonstrate professional judgement and reflective practice in complex situations
- Build positive relationships and work collaboratively with families and professionals
- Apply your knowledge of childcare legislation, statutory frameworks, and safeguarding practice
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Strong understanding of Early Help, safeguarding, and risk assessment
- Excellent engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working within children and families or early intervention teams
