The Role:
As a Social Worker within the Family Safeguarding Team, you'll work with families during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Your role will involve:
- Assessing and supporting families to safeguard children and reduce risk
- Managing a mixed caseload of Children in Need and Child Protection work
- Collaborating with partner agencies to deliver joined-up, effective interventions
- Undertaking court work when required, with full support from your Practice Development and Team Managers

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar children's social work setting
- The ability to manage a complex and varied caseload effectively
- A child-focused, relationship-based approach to practice
Sound understanding of safeguarding procedures, risk management, and statutory responsibilities - A collaborative and resilient mindset, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a team
