A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Locum Social Worker to join a Kinship Team in the Bolton area. Working within the Fostering Service, you'll be completing kinship assessments and providing targeted support to carers and children.

Key responsibilities
- Complete assessments of kinship carers, children, and their home environment
- Undertake court-directed assessments
- Manage a caseload and implement effective case plans for kinship families
- Provide practical and emotional support to kinship carers and children
- Advocate for the needs and rights of children and kinship families
- Link families to education, health, legal, and financial support services
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience within a similar statutory social work setting
- Proven experience completing kinship assessments and developing case plans
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work
- SWE registration
