If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Wakefield Council - IRO Team. This is a full-time role offering up to £40 per hour.
Here's the Role:
- Chair statutory reviews for looked-after children in line with legal requirements.
- Monitor and review care plans to ensure they are effective, timely, and meet the child's needs.
- Provide independent scrutiny and challenge to social work practice and decision-making.
- Promote the voice of the child in all planning and review processes.
- Work collaboratively with children, families, social workers, and multi-agency professionals.
- Escalate concerns where care planning or safeguarding is inadequate or delayed.

Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
