As a frontline Social Worker, you will carry out high-quality assessments and interventions that ensure the safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes for children. This is a critical role at the point of referral, where your professional judgment and decision-making will shape the future for those in need. You will work as part of a collaborative and well-resourced team with strong multi-agency links. You can expect a fantastic salary of:
£37,366 to £45,511 per annum DOE.

Responsibilities:
- Complete holistic assessments of need under the Children Act 1989 for children with disabilities and their families.
- Develop and implement Child in Need, Child Protection, or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in collaboration with families and professionals.
- Coordinate multi-agency support to ensure children with disabilities have access to appropriate health, education, and social care services.
- Support families through transitions, including early years, primary to secondary education, and into adult services.
- Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding investigations where children with disabilities are at risk of harm.
- Provide direct support and interventions to promote inclusion, independence, and the child's well-being.
- Advise and assist with access to short breaks, respite care, specialist equipment, and personal budgets.
- Prepare reports and attend child-focused meetings, such as reviews, planning meetings, and tribunals.
- Work closely with Special Educational Needs (SEN) teams, health professionals, and community providers.
- Advocate for the rights and wishes of the child, ensuring their voice is central to planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
