Advanced Practitioner - South Advice & Guidance Service
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join our South Advice and Guidance Service. This role is vital in ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

Responsibilities
- Screening all incoming contacts, applying strong analytical and safeguarding skills
- Ensuring robust decision-making that leads to timely and appropriate interventions
- Supporting staff members, including offering guidance to less experienced colleagues
- Dip sampling and quality assurance to maintain high practice standards
- Participating in multi-agency review meetings
- Providing professional advice during drop-in sessions
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- BSc Social Work or equivalent
- SWE registration
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Confident in screening, risk analysis, and threshold decision-making
- Ability to mentor and support others
- Skilled in quality assurance and reflective practice
