Children's Social Worker - Safeguarding & Planning (Fieldwork Team)
Are you a passionate and committed Children's Social Worker looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and forward-thinking local authority?
We are currently recruiting for experienced Locum Social Workers to join the Safeguarding & Planning Fieldwork Teams in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within well-established Long Term Teams supporting children and families through safeguarding processes and care proceedings.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality safeguarding and planning interventions
- Manage a varied caseload within long-term child protection and court work
- Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and statutory visits
- Contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people
To Be Considered, ideally you will have:
- Recognised Diploma / Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Experience within children's safeguarding / long-term teams
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
