Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Bolton Council's Adult Safeguarding Team. This is a full time role offering a great pay rate of £30 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all adult safeguarding referrals. You will be responsible for screening incoming concerns and determining the appropriate course of action to protect individuals from abuse or neglect.
- Lead and coordinate statutory investigations, known as Section 42 enquiries, into allegations of abuse and neglect. This involves gathering evidence, interviewing the adult at risk, family members, and other professionals to fully understand the situation and assess the level of risk.
- Manage a caseload of adults at risk. You will work in a proportionate and person-centred way to create and implement safeguarding plans. This may involve arranging for support services, providing accommodation, or taking legal action to protect the individual's safety and well-being.
- Work within the statutory framework of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Human Rights Act 1998. You must be legally literate and confident in applying these laws to your practice.
- Collaborate effectively with a range of partners, including the police, health services, housing teams, and other social care providers. You will attend strategy meetings and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to ensure a coordinated and effective response to safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and high-quality case records. You will also be responsible for preparing reports for management, legal proceedings, and safeguarding meetings.
- Be committed to continuous learning and improvement. You will receive regular professional and managerial supervision and have access to training opportunities to support your growth in safeguarding practices.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
