We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Systems Engineer to join our team in Redditch. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System, supporting internal teams and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is process-focused, analytical, and confident in working with both data and people to improve quality performance.
Maintain and support the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Conduct internal audits, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Provide training in auditing practices to less experienced team members.
Report on internal quality KPIs such as scrap rates and delivery performance.
Record and manage concerns, responses, and follow-up communication with customers as needed.
Lead process reviews and help structure and maintain quality procedures.
Support root cause and 8D analysis in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.
Maintain and update control plans.
Capture process improvements and update documentation to reflect changes.
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns.
Ideally degree-educated or equivalent, with a strong interest in improving systems and processes.
Internal auditing experience with a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
Strong organisational and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
Experience with PPAPs and Initial Sample Inspection Reports is desirable.
A basic understanding of manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating quality issues constructively within a team environment.
