What You'll Do:
As the first point of contact for our school, you'll be vital to our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering phones and greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring everyone feels welcome from the moment they arrive.
Managing correspondence, handling emails and mail efficiently to keep everything running smoothly.
Providing essential administrative support to our dedicated school staff, helping them focus on teaching and care.
Maintaining accurate records, ensuring all information is organised, accessible, and up-to-date.
Playing a proactive role in the smooth running of the school's administrative functions, and assisting with other tasks as required to support our vibrant learning community.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who is:
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and empathetically with children, parents, and staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable navigating Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage various tasks.
Highly organised with a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Compassionate and dedicated to working within a special needs environment, understanding the unique needs of our students.
While not essential, experience in a school environment is preferred, giving you a head start in understanding our daily rhythm.
You'll need GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, providing a solid foundation for this essential role.
