What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience as a social worker, with significant experience in front-line children's services, particularly in referral and assessment or MASH.
Current and valid Social Work England registration.
Proven ability to undertake robust assessments, make critical threshold decisions under pressure, and manage risk effectively.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., Children Act 1989), statutory guidance, and local safeguarding procedures.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families, children, and multi-agency partners.
A commitment to guiding and mentoring less experienced social workers.
