Job Title: Refuse Loader

Location: Newport
Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible shifts including weekends and bank holidays as needed)
Salary: £12.18

About the Role:
We're looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our Waste & Cleansing team as Refuse Loaders. You'll play a key part in keeping our city clean by collecting household waste and recycling from local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out waste and recycling collections following daily route schedules

• Lift and load bins, sacks, and other containers safely

• Report issues such as missed bins or contamination

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Support other teams and attend training when required

About You:

• Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weathers

• A team player who can also work independently

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexibly

• Good awareness of health and safety practices

• Previous outdoor or manual labour experience is helpful but not essential
