About the Role:
As an RE Teacher, your lessons will spark debate, promote tolerance, and help students understand faith, belief, and morality in a modern world. You'll be teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing them for success both in exams and as respectful members of society.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that are accessible and inclusive.
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Encourage open dialogue and critical thinking on a range of faith-based and ethical issues.
- Prepare students GCSE Religious Studies exams.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress regularly.
- Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture.
- Work collaboratively with the humanities department and wider school staff.
- Follow safeguarding and school behaviour policies consistently.
What You'll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Religious Education or related subjects (Theology, Philosophy, etc.).
- Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for the subject and ability to make lessons meaningful and relevant.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
