Religious Education Teacher - Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Daily Pay: £150 to £220 (based on experience)

We are working with a range of vibrant and inclusive secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking engaging and reflective RE Teachers for September. Whether you're a seasoned professional or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), there's a perfect opportunity waiting for you!

About the Role:

As an RE Teacher, your lessons will spark debate, promote tolerance, and help students understand faith, belief, and morality in a modern world. You'll be teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing them for success both in exams and as respectful members of society.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare students GCSE Religious Studies exams.
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress regularly.
Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture.
Work collaboratively with the humanities department and wider school staff.
Follow safeguarding and school behaviour policies consistently.

What You'll Need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Specialism in Religious Education or related subjects (Theology, Philosophy, etc.).
Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for the subject and ability to make lessons meaningful and relevant.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
