As a Residential Child Support Worker in the Strathpeffer and Inverness area, you'll be the backbone of excellent childcare practice. Working in line with Randstad Care policies and National Care Standards, you will provide the vital supervision and nurturing environment our young residents need to truly thrive.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
Meaningful Engagement: Building positive, lasting relationships with young people who may have faced emotional or behavioural challenges.
Documentation: Maintaining clear, professional, and legible reports to track progress and well-being.
Life Skills: Encouraging residents to explore new hobbies and joining in on recreational activities.
Professionalism: Communicating effectively with Social Workers, parents, and external agencies.
Continuous Learning: Bringing an eagerness to develop your skills and a hunger for personal growth.
What you'll need to succeed:
Proven Experience: A background in UK-based care settings working with young people.
Clinical Knowledge: An understanding of attachment theory, child protection policies, and cognitive behavioural approaches.
The Right Credentials: An SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Compliance: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the PVG scheme and SSSC.
Mobility: A full UK driving licence is essential for this location.
Heart: The ability to use your lived experience to advocate for young people and provide empathetic care.
