Overview

Randstad Care is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Residential Childcare Workers for roles based in Glasgow. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in residential care settings, helping them thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support

• Assist with routines including meals, education, and activities

• Promote positive relationships and behaviour

• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records

• Work closely with a team of staff and professionals

Requirements

• Experience in residential childcare or youth support

• SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or willingness to work towards it)

• PVG membership and SSSC registration (or willingness to register)

• Ability to work flexible shifts including sleep-ins and weekends

• Driving licence preferred but not essential
