A successful Child Support Worker will be responsible for:
Working effectively as part of a specialist team of support providers.
Providing high-quality, 24-hour care to vulnerable young people.
Supporting service users dealing with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD).
Promoting independence by taking service users into the community and to school.
Maintaining professional boundaries and upholding National Care Standards at all times.
Working a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
To be successful in your application, you will:
Have previous experience in a residential setting working with young people.
Display a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (essential for community access).
Have obtained, or be working towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
