A successful child support worker will be responsible for:
- Provide essential 24-hour care and support as part of a committed team.
- Guide and assist young people dealing with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties.
- Facilitate community and school integration.
- Maintain the highest professional boundaries and adhere to National Care Standards.
To be successful in your application, you will:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a residential setting with young people.
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
- Registration under the PVG scheme.
- A full driving licence.
- An SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, is desirable (or working towards it).
