Randstad Education is seeking a committed and inspiring Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team for a school in Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role where you can build a rewarding career while providing essential support and guidance to young people, helping them to build their confidence, skills, and futures. This school provides a nurturing, structured, and high-achieving environment for students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and the residential team is vital to this mission.
This is a permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:
... - Provide daily care, support, and mentorship to residents.
- Implement robust safeguarding procedures to ensure resident well-being.
- Help develop and execute individual care plans to meet personal goals.
- Plan and lead engaging activities, outings, and daily routines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident records and reports.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and external agencies.
- Support residents with their education, appointments, and life skills development.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential care, support work, or a related field.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Effective de-escalation skills for challenging situations.
- Proficient IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Full UK driving licence (highly desirable).
- First Aid certification (desirable).
