    Are you an Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 contractor, based in Preston. Candidates should apply for this role with previous surveying experience within the water treatment sector.You will be working closely with project operational teams, providing commercial support throughout the project lifecycle for individual projects or batches.Reporting directly to the commercial manager, you will be responsible for the following:Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required.Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract.Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.Drafting of complex subcontract arrangement including professional services & appropriate terms of engagement.Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.Measurement of quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement as required.Maximising of cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production & improvement plans.Experience and Requirements: Relevant HND/Degree Qualification.MRICS qualified (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate that they are working towards chartership.Full driving license.Relevant CSCS CardPreferably water treatment industry experience, would consider other civil engineering background.Salary £55,000 to £65,000 plus car package If you think you match the criteria and would like to find out more please call Rebecca on 0191 260 2500Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
