Responsibilities
- Drive the development, implementation, and improvement of the company's Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards, including ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and Safe-T-Cert accreditation.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through staff training, awareness campaigns, and regular communication across the organization.
- Oversee accident and incident investigations, reporting, statistics, and liaise with insurers and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Manage safety officers, ensure subcontractor compliance, conduct regular site audits, and address safety non-conformances.
- Support tenders, client meetings, safety campaigns, and report regularly to senior management on EHSQ matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position
