SAP Technical Architect / Technical Project Manager
My FMCG client is seeking a SAP Technical Architect / Technical Project Manager to support enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on enterprise integrations and finance-led workstreams.
This role sits one level below the Programme Manager and is responsible for owning and delivering complex SAP integration landscapes - Specifically S/4 HANA. The successful candidate will be a hands-on delivery leader - technically credible, financially literate, and comfortable operating in a large, global, matrixed environment.
Essential Skills
- Understanding of:
- SAP integration (CPI/BTP/PI/PO)
- Architecture principles
- How systems connect
- SAP S/4HANA Transformation Experience:
- Hands-on experience with:
- ECC → S/4HANA migration OR
- Greenfield S/4HANA implementations
- Experience managing:
- Integrations
- Data migration
- Cutover & hypercare
- Ability to speak confidently with architects
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required. Master's degree is a plus and will be considered.
- Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or Agile certifications)
- Strong SAP Integration skills
- Strong experience overseeing SAP Architecture, specifically within S/4Hana integrations
- History of supporting SAP Architecture Projects
- A minimum of 8 years of PM experience
- A minimum of 5 years managing large/global projects
- Ability to develop an integrated project plan across multiple workstreams and drive project delivery from it
- Ability to create the reporting in the SAP Architecture landscape
