We are looking for a key member to join our team as a School Administrator in Maghull. Your role will be the heartbeat of our school office, making sure everything runs smoothly for our students, staff, and parents. This position requires someone with a background in school administration who can handle a variety of tasks with a positive and organised approach.
What You'll Be Doing
- First Point of Contact: You will be the welcoming face of the school, answering questions and directing visitors, parents, and students.
- Operational Hub: You'll manage a wide range of administrative duties, from handling phone calls and emails to managing school correspondence.
- Record Keeping: You'll be responsible for accurately maintaining student and staff records, including attendance.
- Behind-the-Scenes Support: You'll assist with essential tasks like managing school finances and ensuring all visitors comply with our safeguarding procedures.
- Team Collaboration: You'll work closely with teachers and leadership to support the day-to-day needs of our school.

Who We're Looking For
- School Experience: You must have previous administrative experience in a school setting.
- Tech-Savvy: You should be confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally, have experience with school-specific software like SIMS or Arbor.
- Excellent Communicator: You should have strong people skills and a clear, professional communication style.
- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to your work is essential.
