We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Learning - English to lead our English department. This pivotal role involves shaping the strategic direction of English education across all key stages, ensuring high-quality teaching and driving student achievement.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:
... - Lead and manage the English department to secure high-quality teaching and learning
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking curriculum that engages and challenges all students
- Monitor progress and implement intervention strategies to close achievement gaps
- Inspire and support a team of English teachers, promoting professional development and excellence
- Contribute to whole-school literacy and enrichment initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS or willing to get new on
- Teaching experience in English, with a proven track record of leadership
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies and assessment practices
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
