School Finance & Admin Officer
Location: St Helens (WA9 / WA10)

We are currently seeking an experienced School Finance & Admin Officer to join a busy, friendly school office in St Helens. This is an immediate requirement for a candidate who can provide seamless financial support and administrative coordination.
Because we require an ASAP start, we are looking for a specialist who is already fully proficient in Arbor Finance.
Skills Needed:
- Arbor Finance Expertise: You must have recent, hands-on experience with the Arbor system. This is non-negotiable for this specific role.
- School Office Experience: A solid understanding of the daily operations within a school environment.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the St Helens educational landscape is a plus.
- Efficiency: The ability to manage a high workload with minimal supervision from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Processing: Managing the end-to-end financial process using Arbor, including processing requisitions, BACS payments, and month-end reconciliations.
- Administrative Support: Handling school-specific administrative tasks, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, and managing front-office enquiries as needed.
- Compliance: Ensuring all financial records are maintained in line with St Helens Council's audit requirements.
- Communication: Acting as a point of contact for suppliers, parents, and staff regarding financial queries.
