Duties:
... - Delivering engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4.
- Setting up and supervising safe practical experiments in the lab.
- Explaining scientific concepts in simple, easy-to-understand ways.
- Marking student work and helping them track their progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Preparing Year 11 students for their GCSE Science exams
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject.
- Experience teaching the UK Secondary Science curriculum.
- A commitment to lab safety and student engagement.
- A valid DBS check (or the willingness to apply for a new one).
