Role Description:
We are hiring a Science Teacher to lead creative, inclusive lessons tailored for students with complex SEN, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SLD. Your role will be to promote learning through hands-on science and build trust through supportive teaching.
You Must Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- UK right to work (no sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Background in SEN education within the UK
- Confident approach to classroom and behaviour management
- Commitment to weekday availability, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Modify science content for diverse abilities and communication needs
- Align lesson plans with EHCP objectives
- Deliver science through visual, tactile, and real-life contexts
- Encourage curiosity and critical thinking
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, including emotional care
