Your Role and Responsibilities
As a supply teacher, you'll be responsible for stepping into different classroom environments and ensuring a smooth continuation of learning. Your duties will include:
- Delivering Pre-planned Lessons: Follow lesson plans and schemes of work provided by the school to deliver engaging and effective lessons in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere, managing student behaviour in line with each school's policies.
- Supporting Student Learning: Answer student questions, provide clarification on scientific concepts, and assist with practical experiments where necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Carry out essential administrative duties, such as taking the register and ensuring the classroom is tidy and safe at the end of the day.

Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in a science-related subject.

- A current Enhanced DBS Check or a willingness to apply for one.
