We are seeking a versatile and high-energy Qualified Teacher (QTS) to support our partner secondary schools across Colchester. Whether you are looking for the total flexibility of daily supply or the stability of a long-term full-time placement, we have the connections to put you in the right classroom. As a teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining high academic standards and ensuring that every student remains engaged and inspired.
Your Responsibilities
- Engaging Delivery: Plan (for long-term) or deliver (for supply) high-impact lessons across KS3 and KS4 that challenge students and foster a love for your subject.
- Classroom Authority: Command the room with a confident and professional presence, implementing school-specific behaviour policies to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Adaptive Support: Differentiate your teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners, including high-attainers in grammar settings and students requiring additional scaffolding.
- Professional Collaboration: Work alongside established departments to share resources and provide detailed feedback on student progress and engagement.
- Exam Focus: Support Year 11 cohorts through critical revision periods, utilising your subject expertise to boost confidence and attainment levels.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS: Mandatory.
