The Role: This isn't just about "covering the curriculum." It's about breaking down barriers. You will deliver high-quality Science lessons (GCSE and Functional Skills Level 2) to small groups of pupils with complex SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. You will be a mentor, a scientist, and a champion for students who have often been told they can't succeed.

We are looking for:
QTS/QTLS: A qualified Science specialist with expert National Curriculum knowledge.
Resilience: Experience in an SEN or PRU setting is highly desirable, but a "care-first" attitude and strong classroom management are essential.
Adaptability: The ability to differentiate complex concepts for learners with EHCPs and trauma backgrounds.
Interpersonal Excellence: A high level of emotional intelligence to build rapport with "hard-to-reach" pupils and their families.
Versatility: While Science is the priority, the ability to offer a second subject is a distinct advantage.
Key Requirements:
- QTS/QTLS qualification for Secondary school teaching.
Proven track record of delivering Science at KS3 and KS4 Level.
- Proven experience in a UK based SEMH/PRU School.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
Deep understanding of safeguarding requirements and the impact of emotional well-being on learning.
