Role Overview
Make mathematical concepts clear, accessible, and engaging for secondary pupils in Basildon. We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality numeracy and problem-solving lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a modern, well-resourced department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured Maths lessons tailored to varying ability streams in KS3 and KS4.
- Develop logical reasoning, problem-solving, and core numeracy confidence.
- Prepare Key Stage 4 pupils for GCSE examinations using formative assessment techniques.
- Work collaboratively with department colleagues to share resources and best practices.
Requirements:
- UK QTS/QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly invited to apply).
- Deep understanding of the secondary Maths national curriculum.
- High expectations for pupil behaviour and academic effort.
