Key Responsibilities:

- Differentiate learning resources effectively to engage all pupils, supporting both high achievers and pupils with additional learning needs (SEND).
- For day-to-day cover: ensure detailed handover notes are left for returning department staff.
- For long-term placements: take ownership of lesson preparation, assessment, tracking pupil progress, and participating in departmental meetings or parents' evenings.
What We Look For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the Secondary National Curriculum and GCSE/A-Level exam specifications.
- Confident classroom presence with effective, positive behaviour management strategies.
