The Role
As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital support system for students and teachers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support to students in mainstream classes and small groups.
- Assisting with core subjects like English and Maths, as well as other lessons.
- Helping pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or other learning needs.
- Encouraging a positive and productive atmosphere in the classroom.
- Working with teachers to monitor student progress and prepare learning materials.
- Assisting with pastoral care, ensuring students feel supported and valued.
We're looking for someone with empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills. You should also be adaptable, well-organised, and able to take initiative.

Essential Requirements & Key Skills
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to get one).
- Prior experience working in a secondary school.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
