Randstad UK is seeking experienced, dedicated, and passionate tutors to join our growing team across Sefton. As a tutor, you will provide high-quality, tailored tuition to students across various year groups, ranging from Key Stage 1 through to Post-16.
We are looking for specialists in Maths, English, and Science who can deliver sessions in line with the current UK National Curriculum. Beyond academic achievement, you will play a pivotal role in building students' confidence, social skills, and long-term success.
Your Role
Tailored Delivery: Deliver individualised tuition sessions in Maths, English, and/or Science, ensuring all content aligns with the National Curriculum.
Diverse Settings: Sessions take place on school premises, at students' homes, or within local community spaces such as libraries.
Inclusion & SEN: Adapt your teaching methods to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring every session is accessible and inclusive.
Mentorship: Form meaningful, long-term relationships with learners, offering the consistent encouragement they need to thrive.
Progress Tracking: Maintain clear and professional communication with families and schools regarding student development and areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven Expertise: Significant experience in tutoring or teaching Maths, English, or Science.
Curriculum Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the current UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Adaptability: Experience working with students with SEN and the ability to differentiate your approach.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire young people.
Vetting: A DBS check on the Update Service is essential, or a willingness to apply for one prior to commencing work.
