The Role :

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEMH Primary Teacher for a long-term position at a specialist provision in King's Lynn. This role offers the chance to work closely with children who need emotional and behavioural support in order to thrive academically and socially.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver tailored lessons that engage and support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional regulation and learning
Build positive relationships with pupils, using trauma-informed and restorative practices
Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised support plans
Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adapting your approach to meet individual needs
Play an active role in the wider school community and support the school's inclusive ethos

What We're Looking For

Eligibility to work in the UK
DBS on the update service
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent teaching style
Ability to inspire trust, build rapport, and maintain clear boundaries
A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping every child achieve their full potential
