We are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant based in Stockport. You will support a range of students across KS2, KS3, and KS4 with complex behavioral needs, ensuring they remain engaged with the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in managing classroom dynamics and individual student needs.
- Provide emotional support and de-escalation for students during periods of crisis.
- Assist with the implementation of personal learning goals and social skills development.
- Collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure holistic student support.
Requirements
- Essential: Solid experience in a similar SEMH or SEN role.
- Committed to a full-time schedule (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
