We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work in PRU / Alternative education schools to support pupils between the ages of 11 and 16. We are looking for people who are available on a full-time basis, beginning in September for the new academic year.
The Schools you could be placed in provides high quality, supportive, and inspirational teaching to 11 - 16-year-olds at Key Stage 3 and 4. They have a bespoke approach which ensures positive progression either back into mainstream education, or into the world of further education, work-based learning, or employment.

The responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the teacher deliver informative and engaging lessons
- Working in small groups and on a one to one basis with some pupils
- Helping the teacher to devise innovative lesson plans
- manage behaviour in the classroom and around the school.
The requirements for the role are:
- A DBS on the update service
- Experience with children or young adults in an educational setting
- Be committed to achieving high levels of attainment for students
- Have a good team ethic, want to support and make a difference
- The ability to communicate with children from diverse backgrounds
- Be comfortable working with children who may have faced struggles in School and require that extra support
- Confidence in behaviour management skills
