Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum
Location: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Provide constructive and meaningful feedback on pupil behaviour, relationships, and attitudes.
Support and promote positive behaviour and sustained concentration, adapting responses to changes or escalations in behaviour.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to ensure they feel safe, engaged, and motivated to learn.
Encourage independence and personal development while maintaining consistently high expectations of behaviour.
Implement and adapt learning activities in collaboration with the teacher, reinforcing key learning concepts.
Prepare and organise learning resources to effectively support lesson delivery.
Assist in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
