SEN English Teacher - Leading Knowsley School
Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher with a specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading school in Knowsley, known for its inclusive approach and supportive team environment. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with support staff and parents to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to maximise student achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Minimum of six months of experience teaching students with SEN.
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD is highly desirable.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
