Randstad Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team around the Wickford area. This role involves working closely with special educational needs children on a 1:1, small group, and intervention basis.

Requirements:
- An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
- NVQ level 2 in learning/support/early years, NNEB or equivalent qualification/experience is essential.
- Must have a minimum qualification of English and Maths at GCSE level C or above (or equivalent)
- Must have experience of working with children, ideally in a school setting with patience, calmness and flexibility at all times
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents and other adults is preferred
- Should have a passion for developing individual learning and encouraging pupils to achieve their best
- Ability to manage and positively respond to challenging behaviour.
