Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maths Teacher to support pupils with diverse special educational needs, such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex cognitive challenges. You will craft engaging, personalised lessons that meet each learner's EHCP and academic objectives.
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Essential Requirements:
- UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience teaching maths within SEN settings
- Full availability Monday to Friday
Preferred Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Required:
A solid background in SEN education and proven ability to adapt maths content to individual learning plans.
Key Competencies:
- Teach functional maths skills suited to each learner
- Apply everyday examples to explain abstract topics
- Use interactive tools and visuals to promote understanding
- Build confidence and support student independence
- Assist with personal care when required
